Knowledge of groundwater hydrology is useful for a variety of subsurface investigations and groundwater related work. This course provides basic information about the occurrence and movement of groundwater, planning a groundwater investigation and modeling study, field investigative methods, computer modeling of groundwater flow, and about the interactions between surface water and groundwater.
Topics: • Introduction to Groundwater Flow • Occurrence and Movement of Groundwater • Project Management • Planning a Groundwater Investigation and Modeling Study • Field Investigative Methods • Computer Modeling of Groundwater Flow • Interaction Between Surface Water and Groundwater.
Intended Audience: for hydrologists, civil engineers, hydraulic engineers, highway engineers, geotechnical engineers and environmental engineers.
